HPC21/7/02 To receive apologies for absence
Apologies were received from Councillor Yvonne Bushill, Alison Heler, Sam Green and Melissa Mews
HPC21/7/03 To receive declarations of Members’ interests
Councillor Steve Edgar declared an interest relating to payments
Councillor Richard Hovey declared an interest relating to Remembrance commemorations
Councillor Lee Allen declared an interest relating to Remembrance commemorations
Councillor Tony Peake declared an interest relating to Remembrance commemorations and payments
HPC21/7/04 Public Participation
There were no comments or questions submitted by members of the public
HPC21/7/05 To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 4th October 2021
It was resolved to approve the minutes
HPC21/7/06 To receive a report regarding Policing matters
Councillor Tony Peake read out the latest Beat Report received from the Police
HPC21/7/07 To consider the approval of payments
It was resolved to approve payments totalling:-
• Net: £3,127.11
• Gross: £3,150.53
HPC21/7/08 To receive a report from the Chairman of Haslington Parish Council
Councillor Tony Peake provided a report to Members including arrangements for the forthcoming Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade
HPC21/7/09 To receive a report from the Cheshire East Councillors covering Haslington Parish
Councillor Steve Edgar provided an update on:-
• Blocked gullies at Winterley Pool have now been escalated to the Ombudsman
• A new footpath on Hassall Road is being looked into due to concerns that it may cause issues on the carriageway
• The bus shelter for Oakhanger Ward has been approved and will be installed in due course
HPC21/7/10 To consider matters related to planning applications
Councillor Howard Blake joined the meeting at the beginning of this item
There were no planning applications to discuss
HPC21/7/11 To receive an update relating to the installation of new waste bins and benches
Councillors Steve Edgar and Tony Peake provided an update on progress of the project
HPC21/7/12 To receive an update relating to Speed Indicator Devices for the Parish
Councillor Steve Edgar provided an update. The Parish Council is still awaiting delivery which has been delayed due to technological supply issues
HPC21/7/13 To receive an update related to the Neighbourhood Plan
Councillor Steve Edgar provided an update on the recent consultation for the Neighbourhood Plan
HPC21/7/14 To consider matters related to the Gutterscroft
Councillors Peake and Griffith provided an update regarding recent activities at the Gutterscroft Centre
HPC21/7/15 To consider matters related setting the budget for the forthcoming financial year 2022 / 2023
The draft budget was discussed and it was resolved that the Item would be deferred to the next meeting for ratification
HPC21/7/16 To consider matters related to the Winterley Ward
There were no matters to discuss
HPC21/7/17 To consider matters related to the Oakhanger Ward
Councillor Peake passed on comments received from Oakhanger residents regarding the installation of the new Speed Indicator Devices
HPC21/7/18 To consider matters related to the Haslington Village Ward
Councillor Peake confirmed details regarding the forthcoming Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade arrangement
Councillor Peake also advised that the annual Carol Service would be held on the Village Green on Friday 17th December 2021 at 6.30pm
HPC21/7/19 To consider matters related to urgent business needed to be carried out by Haslington Parish Council in the interest and benefit of those who live and operate within the Parish boundary
There were no matters to consider
HPC21/7/20 To note the date of the next meeting as Monday 6th December 2021
The date of the next meeting was noted the date of the meeting and confirmed that the meeting would be held at Oakhanger Community Centre at 7pm
The meeting closed at 8.57pm
