Apologies were received from Councillor Howard Blake

HPC21/6/03 To receive declarations of Members’ interests

Councillor Sam Green declared an interest in Item 6 relating to payments

Councillor Steve Edgar declared an interest in Item 6 relating to payments

Councillor Richard Hovey declared an interest in Item 17 relating to the Cheshire East Council Community Governance Review and Item 14 relating to Remembrance commemorations

Councillor Lee Allen declared an interest in Item 14 relating to Remembrance commemorations

Councillor Tony Peake declared an interest in Item 14 relating to Remembrance commemorations

HPC21/6/04 Public Participation

There were no comments or questions submitted by members of the public

HPC21/6/05 To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 6th September 2021

It was resolved to approve the minutes

HPC21/6/06 To receive a report regarding Policing matters

No update was received

Councillor Melissa Mews joined the meeting at this point

HPC21/6/07 To consider the approval of payments

It was resolved to approve payments totalling:-
• Net: £6,826.49
• Gross: £7,284.73

HPC21/6/08 To receive a report from the Chairman of Haslington Parish Council

Councillor Tony Peake provided a report to Members

HPC21/6/09 To receive a report from the Cheshire East Councillors covering Haslington Parish

Councillor Steve Edgar provided an update on:-
• Building works on the Printworks site
• Planning matters on Oakhanger Ward

HPC21/6/10 To consider matters related to planning applications

Councillor Janet Griffith joined the meeting at this point

Councillors Steve Edgard and Richard Hovey updated members on the planning application relating to white Moss Quarry

HPC21/6/11 To receive an update relating to the installation of new waste bins and benches

Councillors Steve Edgar and Tony Peake provided an update on progress of the project

HPC21/6/12 To receive an update relating to a bus shelter for Oakhanger Ward

Councillor Steve Edgar provided an update on discussions with external bodies regarding the bus shelter

HPC21/6/13 To receive an update relating to Speed Indicator Devices for the Parish

Councillor Steve Edgar provided an update

HPC21/6/14 To receive an update relating to Remembrance commemorations

Councillors Tony Peake and Lee Allen provided an update relating to Remembrance commemorations

HPC21/6/15 To consider matters related to advent and Christmas activities

Councillor Tony Peake provided an update and advised that the Carol Service would be held on the Village Green at 6.30pm on 17th December 2021

HPC21/6/16 To consider matters related to the Gutterscroft Community Centre

Councillors Janet Griffith, Sam Green and Tony Peake provided an update

HPC21/6/17 To consider matters related to the current Cheshire East Council Community Governance Review

The Community Governance Review was discussed and it was resolved that Councillor Richard Hovey would compose the response on behalf of the Parish Council

Councillor Steve Edgar abstained from the vote

HPC21/6/18 To consider matters related to the Cheshire East Parking Consultation which begins at the end of Septmber 2021

HPC21/6/19 To consider matters related to the Neighbourhood Plan

Councillor Steve Edgar provided an update

HPC21/6/20 To consider matters related to the Winterley Ward

There were no matters to discuss

HPC21/6/21 To consider matters related to the Oakhanger Ward

Councillor Yvonne Bushill passed on residents thanks to Councillor Steve Edgar for his support to residents

HPC21/6/22 To consider matters related to the Haslington Village Ward

Councillor Steve Welch updated members on his recent correspondence regarding the Haslington Hum Residents Group

Councillors Tony Peake and Graham Sawyer updated members on their recent discussions related to planting bulbs around the Parish

It was resolved to allocated £250.00 towards bulbs to be planted around the Parish

HPC21/6/23 To consider matters related to urgent business needed to be carried out by Haslington Parish Council in the interest and benefit of those who live and operate within the Parish boundary

There were no matters to consider

HPC21/6/24 To note the date of the next meeting as Monday 1st November 2021

The date of the next meeting was noted

The meeting closed at 9.09pm
