Haslington will be holding its annual Village Fun Day on the village green on
Saturday 20th May 2017 with Crewe and Nantwich MP, Edward Timpson, formally
opening the event at 11am prior to judging the best dressed stall.
A strong line up of events and activities, catering for all the family, is planned for the
day. In addition to 30 charity stalls offering a wide range of craft items and other
products for sale in order to raise funding for worthy causes the Fun Day will include
a performance by Winterley Methodist Brass Band and the village’s highly regarded
dog show, which will be professionally judged as in all previous years.
There will be three pedigree classes in the dog show, Pedigree Puppy 6-12 months
old, Toy Dog and Working Dog and five fun classes ranging from Haslington’s best
puppy 6-12 months old to the Dog the Judge would most like to Take Home. Best in
Show, Reserve Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show classes will conclude the
show. To take part simply turn up on the village green before 12.30pm on the day
and book your dog in to your chosen classes. Rosettes and excellent prizes will be
awarded in all classes.
Strawberries and cream together with other refreshments will be available both on
