~~Parents and Carers Forum~~
Parents and Carers Forums are held on
Wednesday 16th March 2011, 9.30am- 12.30pm at Victoria Community Centre, Crewe.
Wednesday23rd March, 6.30pm-9.00pm at Macclesfield Town Hall.
~~Online Parental Engagement Survey~~
The Sandbach and Haslington Schools are doing a piece of research around parental views regarding engagement with their child’s school and their education. We are therefore asking all parents if they would follow the link below and complete the questionnaire. All responses are anonymous.
All you have to do is click onto the link and it will take you directly to the survey-there is no need for passwords, logins etc.
The questionnaire will stay open until 15th April and obviously the greater the numbers, the more meaningful the results- so any support is greatly appreciated.
~~Year 5 Residential Trip to Pensarn~~
Just a reminder that there is meeting on Thursday 17th March 2011 at 6.30pm in the main hall. This meeting is an update of any information required. You will also receive a kit list and medical forms that require completion.
Please be advised that hooded and zipped hooded sweatshirts are not part of the day to day uniform and can only be worn as part of outdoor PE kit or travelling to and from school and playtimes.

Many people do not realise that they could be eligible for claiming free school meals. You could be if you or your partner receives one of the following:
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit, provided you are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual income that does not exceed £16,040

~~Job Advert for Mid-day Assistant~~
One of our Mid-day assistants is leaving on 1st April 2011. If you are interested in applying for this position, please collect a job application form from Mrs Robinson in the school office.
- The job is for 5 hours a week( 1 hour each lunchtime)
- Rate of pay: £7.04 per hour
- Grade 2
Two references will be sought and the position is subject to an enhanced CRB check. An informal taster session can be arranged to see if you think you would like the position. Please arrange this through the school office.
