Carol Palin and David Cope were married at St Matthews Church earlier this month.
Carol’s family have lived in Haslington for several generations and are well known as proprietors for local businesses ranging from the village chippy, which was run by her father and uncle in the 1920s, to the off-licence which Carol ran for many years.
David was raised in Haslington but moved to Llandudno. He came to Haslington to visit a relative and met Carol who by chance was going for a day-out in Llandudno the following week. The rest, as they say, was history.
The wedding breakfast was held at Haslington Cricket Club where a good time was had by all.
