Haslington Parish Council Policies and Governance Documents

There are a number of Policies which the Parish Council is required to have and need to be formally adopted by Members

These documents set out how a Parish Council discharges its duties and powers and they constitute the internal rules, practical arrangements and processes which are essential to those who are connected with the Council

A Parish Council’s governance documents should be readily available for inspection and compliance as these documents relate to the Council’s activities, decisions and the decision making processes

In 2020, Haslington Parish Council has reviewed, resolved and formally adopted to implement a number of new Policies. These include:-

The Council will from time to time review these documents to make sure that they are as up to date as possible, whether that is to comply with new legislation and regulations or for reasons of best practice
